Nirmal Sandhu was born in village Akbarpura, Distt: Sangrur, Punjab, India.

After obtaining his Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from GNDEC, Ludhiana in 1977, he migrated to USA where he obtained MS Degree in Professional Aeronautics. Later he had a very successful career in Aviation in USA.

He is very passionate about classical music. His music album Dostan Di Dosti is blazing a new trail on internet.
